Physicians Pavilion Surgery Center

The center was nice and clean, but I was kicked from the room befor I could talk to the doctor, did not get to go back in until after the surgery was done. And still no contact with the doctor about what was done .bad doctor bad nurses

Great place for surgery !. The waiting room and surgery center is so clean and organized.. I have had a few procedures done here and the staff is amazing!. Kelly and Emily did wonderful getting me ready for surgery Dr Jane did a great job keeping me comfortable and safe with the meds!. Jason always does a good job explaining whats going on with a smile on his face when were on the way back to surgery!. Coleen ,Rachael and randi were all awesome. Dr Shelton is just an amazing doctor and a wonderful person .. you can feel that all the staff have a deep love for caring for the patients . Great experience!. Surgery can make anyone nervous and anxious, not knowing how things will go.After I went here one time I knew I was in good hands because this center has the best of the best!.

I would highly suggest finding a different facility for your medical procedure needs. The Physicians Pavilion Center will over charge you up front and then hold your money hostage for months before refunding. This should be illegal. India, the office manager, will also threaten to charge you amounts that she cant legally charge you. I had to get a conference call with Cigna and India to resolve where Cigna had to tell her they couldnt charge me for the amounts. Ridiculous - the fight to get our money back was harder than the fight to beat cancer.

Review edit: The staff really were very kind all around, and I was brought back to my son before hed woken up. The difference in not being allowed back with him was explained to me, although I still dont like it. Three different staff assured me (unasked) that he stayed calm. The facility was very clean and kind and well managed. We were even done ahead of schedule. The nurses and doctor and anesthesiologist were all professional and helpful. Original review: This is our third surgery and first time at this center (earlier availability). The other surgery center weve used allows the parent to stay with the child and hold them while they give them gas to go to sleep which makes a smooth and comfortable transition for the patient (two years old). This place (while the staff were friendly, and worked with my two year old by letting him hide under his spider man blanket) took him away still awake to put him to sleep in another room. Theres obviously an issue with separating a two year old about to have surgery from his mother while still awake barring extenuating circumstances. This causes much unnecessary stress. The pre-op nurse actually just came to the waiting room to assure me he was asleep now, and that was very kind. But I have no idea how scared he was before he was out, and I have no way of ever knowing, and I would prefer to be with him to comfort him and be his advocate. He would be so much more calm and less traumatized. So for adults, I would consider this facility in the future. But I dont like that I couldnt go back with my son. For future surgeries I will always confirm this policy prior to scheduling with any other facility.
