The phone numbers listed on their site dont even work aside from the one thats only for birds of prey. I tried texting and calling while trying to keep a very stressed injured cardinal alive and couldnt get through to anybody. The raptor line works but the other 2 lines listed wont even ring. Ive heard great things about this place but its frustrating to be in the situation and unable to contact the only place nearby that could have helped. I ended up going All the way to hwy 58 instead.

Alix Parks has been working with animals of all kinds for 15 years, she is federally permitted to do so. Currently She only is accepting Birds if prey, Owls, Hawks, Vultures, Kestrels, and an occasional Eagle but it must be transported to Knoxville or Dollywood where the Eagle Foundation is currently housed. This location is a private residence and not a public facility which can be visited and toured. Wild birds and animal's require alot of attention, feeding and cleaning of cages , medication, and exercise before reintroduction back into the wild.
