Horrible experience. Charles built our home four years ago and the issues that need correcting are forever endless. We have had to spend too much $ correcting numerous issues from major to minor. I regret everyday hiring this man.

Hired Charles to build a house to specific plans. House was not built to the plans. A roof rafter (Visible and sticking through the wallboard) runs through the hallway, room not square, poor quality work. If I could give negative stars I would.

After over 2 years of building (on a 9 month contract) this builder abandoned the project. Taking with him over 70,000 dollars of services paid for but never received. Work that was done was below standard and would not have passed a building inspection had I not corrected numerous problems. Materials were sometimes salvage and not new. These folks are nothing but con artist. Run don’t walk away from this contractor

We have used American Home Builders to build several homes that we were able to sell for a great profit. If you are looking for a good value even in a down market, they can help you. Only 2 negatives: 1. Jobsite was sometimes untidy after sub-contractors left, but not really a big deal in the end 2. Projects took longer than expected, but weather was a factor.

My husband and I have worked over 30 years saving in order to build cabins for our retirement income in Pigeon Forge. American Home Builders stole a lot of that money when they abandon the cabins. Poor workmanship though out the cabin. Sloping floors uneven walls. Paint half done and what was done was so poor it had to be redone. While building our cabins Charles did take his wife on a London vacation. Taking over 2 years before he abandon the job. Estimate the lost revenue for those years at around 200,000 plus the work we had to complete or do over because it would not pass a building inspection was way over 50,000. This is either an extremely poor bussinessman or just a plan evil man. I would not have this company or this man build my dogs doghouse. Services: Interior decorating, Water fixture repair, Flooring, Waterproofing, Water fixture installation, Drywall repair
