Our horse riding excursion was a wholesome experience. Gary and his wife are super welcoming and gave us a total experience of not just riding the horse but also preparing the horse to be ridden.This I'd not typical horse riding where his horses are being ridden over and over day to day by various people. He treats his horses with dignity and introduces each horse to you in depth and you decide which horse you feel most comfortable with before riding. Really awesome experience especially for being a first time rider.

Absolutely incredible family. We cannot say enough about the Ranch, the riding experience and world class service, this is a riding experience unlike any other available anywhere. The trails were incredible; the emphasis on the horse care is clearly a focus for the Ranch and this begins with the special relationship the family has with each of the horses. Truly a one of a kind experience, we will be back soon! PS, the Cowboy Cookie is hands down the best cookie we have ever (ever) had!

My husband and I did a 1/2 day adventure in May 2022. Gary and Alisa were great hosts. The horses, mule and dogs were friendly. The afternoon snack (strawberry shortcake) enjoyed after the trail ride as well as dinner (Dutch oven fried chicken with chocolate chip cookie and ice cream for dessert) was so delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with both Gary and Alisa during our adventure. We hope to visit again sometime. We fell in love with Hawkins County, TN.

We had the pleasure of spending a nice weekend with the Crandalls. I stumbled upon this hidden gem because my strong desire was to get back on a horse after having ridden for so many years. Gary promised me that I could have that dream come true. This is a lovely bed-and-breakfast that sits on hundreds of acres. They are the proud owner of seven beautiful horses. Activities include axe throwing, (which was much more fun than I expected), skeet shooting, fishing, and riding. Gary took me up the mountain on the very first day and it was beautiful. Along with the horses, I cannot forget to mention their dogs. They have two beautiful Weimaraners and a golden retriever. The dogs are a great part of every adventure. Lastly, the highlight is the amazing food that Aleesa fixes. She is anincredible cook, having grown up with good food herself. She doesnt miss a beat and the details are unforgettable. Delicious apple carrot and ginger juice, special meals chosen by each guest, and desserts to die for. Prepare to gain a few pounds and smile along the way. We look forward to going back.
