I went here for a church picnic with El Cannon Baptist church. I would recommend you keep a visual on your vehicle. A lot of locals came out. The church welcomed and fed everyone. A local official came. Overall, it was a good experience.

The Ripley City Park is one of my favorite local parks. It has a 1.1 mile long track on hilly terrain which is perfect for people who like to train cardio. And if you need a break, there are benches all along the way. If cardio isn't your thing, there's also a tennis court and frisbee golf. There's also large picnic areas for parties or gatherings. And sometimes you can see some really pretty sunsets/sunrises if you go up onto the largest hill. All in all, this park has a little bit of everything for everyone. Playground: Three seperate playgrounds across the park Restrooms: One set of restrooms by the entrance Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed on leash Picnic area: 3 large picnic areas
