If you are looking to buy a house by Groome and Co, Sherri Schmid, I would think twice and be sure you have lots of knowledge in real estate. She was the seller of the house we recently purchased, from the beginning there were red flags, but we thought we could trust our realtor to protect us. First she told our realtor we were not allowed to be present for the home inspection we paid for- I believe it is our right to be present and be able to discuss things with the inspector we hired. Next we told our realtor we wanted the electrical issues addressed and fixed- she told our realtor electrical was already addressed and even presented a fraudulent document stating this was fixed- 5 days after moving in we heard a popping sound, we lost power for 4 days due to a fire in the panel... turns out the electrical issue wasn't addressed by an electrician like we were told, NEXT... we bought a home with a pool... our realtor never told us we needed a pool inspection... but turns out Sherri the selling realtor- knew there had been a pool inspection and extensive.. EXPENSIVE damage was noted on this inspection and it was not disclosed to us... to the tune of up to $70,000... is that lawful to not disclose damage that you are aware of? Shouldn't a realtor protect a buyer from that? We bought this house not because of the inside of the house because it was poorly taken care of...we bought this house because of the swimming pool that we wanted to enjoy and the beautiful back yard. Sherri Schmid and her sellers scammed us- they knew about the extensive damage to this pool which is probably why other buyers backed out... and our realtor probably trusted Sherri, which was a big mistake that cost us ALOT OF MONEY. We would have never bought this house had we known about the extensive damage to the pool... we could have bought a brand new house and put a pool in TWICE the size of this one. Steer clear of a house being sold by Sherri Schmid and Groome and Co realtors! You as a buyer are not protected... she is a realtor that wants a quick close and easy money from you, she doesn't care about you or your purchase!!

I am a home builder who recently built a new home for one of Amber Bean's clients. Amber was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process! Kim Harper made our experience as first time home buyers a breeze! She took time to explain the home buying process from start to finish and was a wealth of knowledge to our hundreds of questions.
