H&R Block

Very disappointed in the service I received here. I came in because I had tried to do my taxes on my own and ended up owing a large amount where I havent owed before. I wanted a second opinion because I had never ran into this and wanted to understand why. When we sat down, Gloria was more focused on if the documents I scanned were the right size even though I had explained I had all of the originals with me if she needed them again. I explained my situation and was met with what do you want us to do. I told her that I was there to make sure I had done everything right and wanted them to potentially help me file. She explained that based on my documents I was going to owe because tax laws change all the time. Totally understood but wanted to understand more so I could be on the lookout for future years since this was the first time I was owing. Also wanted to see if expenses, deductions, etc would help my situation. She shut me down on everything I had and I could tell she didnt want to help me with them so I said I would take them and do them myself. I ended up going to another location and they were very helpful and kind through the whole process. Answered all of my questions thoroughly. Definitely dont go to this location if youre needing help and answers during this process.

Sherrie is amazing! Shell even chatted with me through H&Rs mobile app when I couldnt make it into a branch location. Made what can be a stressful experience so much easier.

Completely unhelpful, would never use H&R BLOCK . I had an appointment set and showed up early. The lady was arrogant and discourteous.

I gave my taxes over a month out before they were due. After repeated attempts to the progress of my returns I got no where. Needless to say they waited till the day taxes were due to tell me they were ready. I had little to no time to review them and couldn't even cross reference my taxes ro my documents because they were never uploaded to MyBlock and I was at work and had no chance to check my documents at home. Again I repeatedly told my agent and the office that I wanted to review them in person and they waited till I was at work the day they were due to tell me I could review them. I will never be using HR Block again.
