Sent me a letter for Failure to show proof of liability insurance for a car I no longer own, suspended my license and instructed me to call the office and no one has picked up in the past two days

Once you get into the system, you are screwed. I can relate to many of what the others are saying. The whole "re-issue after re-instatement" is a nightmare and so confusing. I am on the website every day to check and see if my license has gone from suspended to renewed. Calling them? I did that once and the lady was so bothered with my questions and didn't want to take the time to help me. It truly is a nightmare.

So apparently this place has been closed since 2007. After no answer I drove there and its posted on the door that You have to contact the driver services center hickory hollow in Antioch tn.

This place is absolutely useless. Unfortunately its the only place to call to deal with my issue but there never seems to be a representative available to take the call no matter when I call. There also doesnt seem to be one available to return a call so Im unsure what good it does to leave a message even though it forces you to do so after sitting on hold for just a few minutes. I dont know what these people get paid but its waaaay too much.

My passenger vehicle broke down in Millington, Tennessee and, at the behest of the local PD, was towed 1.5 miles to the wrecker lot. That tow charge, alone, was $375. I was informed that this fee is set by TDHS and the THP. Is this correct? If so, why have these government bodies chosen to rip off its own citizens this way. It affects mostly the poorest among us.
