They are unorganized, poorly manned, slow paying lip service. I was hired to paint for them, they were to have their part done 3 weeks before the customer was to move in so that I had 2 weeks to paint. They had the drywall ripped up in EVERY room of the house the day I was to begin. They say "will have a full crew tomorrow", "will be done in two days", "the check is in the mail"..... The job was about 8 weeks past the expected completion date. They also did work for a friend of mine, they start a small remodel job, worked 1 day then it took almost 3 weeks for them to come back to finish the job. They did an archway in a door, the arch is NOT even. I will not hire them nor would I ever do any work for them again.

Backstory: We ordered a new custom front entryway from Pella. When the Pella Team came to remove the existing entry, they found that the wood framing around the door was rotted and could not perform the installation without the framing being replaced. So, the Pella Team left the door in place and sealed the front entry with insulating tape to keep it from getting worse. Pella then referred me to Premier for the remediation. Situation: A representative came out to talk about the small project which included: 1. Remove the Door (something that Pella would have done anyways) 2. Remediate the rot and replace the wood framing. 3. Seal the front entry so that Pella can perform the installation. I was quoted a price that included 2 guys for a full day to complete the project. However, when the 2 man crew came, their only instructions was to remove the front door and seal it up. The subcontractors were not informed that there would be any repairs involved and after a little chit chat, said that it was a 2 hour job as provided to them in the Work Order. If they included the repairs, they let me know that it would take the full day. When I called the Premier representative, he had significant pushback on the scope of work for this small project. He stated that the repairs were not included and that the 2-man crew was only to remove the door and seal it. The additional "scope" would tack on ANOTHER FULL DAY; thereby more than doubling the quoted price. At this point, the existing entryway was already removed and I was given the options to either keep the current scope of work or more than double the price. The entire point of this project was that Pella would not install the new entry without the repairs. Ultimately, the repairs took the full day and the crew came by in the morning for an hour to inspect the work and finish sealing the door. My thoughts: 1. If statement of work had been correct and that the damage to the frame was more extensive than originally determined, then I would not be upset with adding the additional scope. 2. No representative ever came out to inspect the issue or after the work was completed and therefore did not have knowledge of the extend of the repairs. 3. I feel like the representative extorted us for more money because HE messed up scope of work. 4. This likely could have been resolved by providing a written quote with the details of the job. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this company as a result of this experience. I was put in an impossible situation where I either have to hire a different crew to complete the scope or pay double. I found it unprofessional, a strongarm tactic, and dishonest. Service: Home repairs
