I was a patient for 2 -3 years with him he is a great psychiatrist! I was referred to him at Vanderbilt psychiatry. He is more one and one than other psychiatrists I have gone to some people dont like that but I preferred that then someone that is just going to write you a script and say here you go. Very therapeutic and listens to what the patient wants. I would have never been able to return and graduate college without his help, forever grateful.

Was referred here after a brief life crisis. Felt that this physician was much more concerned about perception of himself than about me. As a medical professional, what people document about you really matters to your overall career and perception. This practitioner completely ignored the trauma that induced the incident and instead made it entirely about myself, never once caring about what happened to me or even that it was real and had been documented by several medical professionals that it was in fact real. Also extrapolated information from various conversations and then put his own personal opinion down as fact, even if it was a blantant lie or a meandering thought. Described medical interventions as simply suggesting to someone to stop doing something but documenting it as a dependence. Prescribed multiple medications to me that were in my opinion unnecessary after long term trauma was over. Also sent me to treatment programs that did not suit any of my issues and their diagnoses did not match his as they were consistent with trauma.. Felt very taken advantage of, made to be sick, despite the fact that a sick person had taken advantage of me and I was in excruitating mental and physical pain which he did not ever help me with. I would not recommend to ANYONE, especially to ANY medical professional.
