This is the 3rd time in 18 months that Ive run out of meds and cant reach the office. Their website doesnt work and takes you to a drug discount site. The answering machine is often full. There is no way to reach them after hours in, in an emergency and often no way to leave a message. The owner doesnt seem to care as these issues have been there for at least 2 years.

Drove 2.25 hrs for a VA C&P exam one way. Had the exam. He put me as a no-show which resulted in a denied VA claim.

Update January 2024: they still have not tried to correct the billing error or processed the claim through the correct insurance provider almost a year later and its IMPOSSIBLE to get through to someone on the phone. Ive called a multitude of times to try and get this resolved but have gotten no response back. 2 years later edit April 2023: got a call today from their offices saying I owed them 700 dollars. Turns out they never changed my insurance over to my provider I was using at the time. So they called me two years later without sending anything in the mail or providing any notices saying they will send it to collections and mess with my credit score. THEY HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER. I even started doing tele-health here originally so they could have reached out at anytime. Called my insurance provider I had at the time and they said since it has been so long, the claim may be denied. THEY WAITED TWO YEARS TO CALL ME. But now since their billing and everything they do is so BAD, I will most likely end up having to pay out of pocket for their clerical mistake or risk my credit score be messed up. If they rectify this Ill change my review again, but quite honestly this establishment has been more of a detriment to my mental health than anything. I got more problems from this place than solutions. I wouldnt recommend going here. I had to miss an appointment for two months because money was tight and I had just gotten off insurance due to being in between jobs. They wouldnt work with me on refilling my prescriptions for the short time even though I have been on the medicine for over a year and there was no need for an immediate check in. Now Im having to deal with the side effects of not taking the medication including severe depression and suicidal thoughts and it has been torture. These people do not care about your well being.they just care that you set up appointments so they can get paid.

There are so many better options than this place. My Psychiatrist was Dr. Mceachern and she was knowledgeable and kind. However, my experience with the office over the past two years has been awful. Its so hard to get into contact with them, when I can get into contact the woman who answers the phone has the worst attitude and was just short and rude(consistently over two years I have been using this place) The ONLY way you can schedule appointments is over the phone and half the time their voicemail box is full. There is no website, when you click on the link on your browser it brings you to a wholesale medication website. Just not a great experience, and with how difficult a journey mental health can be, I just wanted to share my experiences to hopefully help someone out. There are so many options around the Nashville/smyrna/Murfreesboro. Do not trust your mental health with Opaku. You are worth more than this.
