Vines Midwifery

Jennifer Vines and her attentive staff provided prenatal care for me starting in October of 2021. My partner and I were impressed with the combination of clinical expertise and calming atmosphere at Vines Midwifery. As these things sometimes go, we ended up giving birth in a hospital in early 2022. Jennifer handled my complications and transfer with great care, and with the help of our doula (also provided by Vines Midwifery) we were able to have an empowering and ultimately healing hospital birth. I would not hesitate to hire Jennifer again!

I couldnt have asked for a better midwife. She made everything magical and perfect. She always listened, was extremely understanding and comfortingjust everything you could want in a midwife and birth team. Highly recommend to anyone looking for home birth.

Jennifer Vines is a very experienced, knowledgeable, efficient and caring midwife. I felt supported and informed throughout my pregnancy and birth. She was willing to answer all of my questions that I had about pregnancy, supplements and birth over the phone, through email and in person. We established a great communicative relationship which was so important for mine and my babys birthing time. I also had the pleasure of establishing a great communicative relationship with Ema our doula who helped coach me during pregnancy and helped me thrive during our birthing time. I truly needed her support throughout pregnancy and birth. She made the intensity of birth feel possible during the times when I did not know what to do next and she would suggest new positions, food and she read me affirmations so calmly and peacefully while I gave birth. She was a vital person in me successfully bringing our baby earth side. Jennifer, Ema and Lindsey truly care and are passionate about what they do - bringing babys into this world while keeping both the birthing Mom and baby healthy naturally is their top priority and I always felt that from them. I was able to have my first home birth after having my first child in a hospital and the experience with Jennifer and her team (Ema our doula and Lindsey Jennifers assistant) in our home was beautiful and nothing short of what I had prayed and hoped for all along. I was supported and guided through my self care routine, emotional processing to help me stay healthy physically, emotionally and mentally for pregnancy and birth. I was able to have a strong and positive mind/body connection for birth because of the work I put in with their experience and guidance along the way. Not only was I fully supported, but they also supported my husband when our birthing time came by showing him where he could help if he wasnt already doing it. He rocked our birthing time and he loved having a home birth for our baby just as much as I did and he also credits Jennifer, Ema and Lindsey for that!
