What can I say? My famly loves The Imagination Station! My son has been enrolled since he was 13 weeks old and he just turned two. We wouldn't have him anywhere else. And, he wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It's actually difficult to pry him away in the evenings to go home because he wants to stay and play. The teachers have always been so good with him and Ms. Nikki is wonderful! She has a very open door policy where parents can bring any concerns or ideas to her at anytime, although her schedule is crazy busy. If ever there is an issue, it is addressed immediately - on the spot. When they say we are all family at the Imagination Station, they mean it. I'm so glad with all of the childcare choices in Nashville, my family chose this one!

My son started at 9 weeks and we were, at first, pleased with the center. They had a problem with turn over for a bit but Ms. Jessica in the baby room, who is now no longer there, was the best!! Our problem with the center started in the toddler room. Turn over continued to be a problem. I didn’t bother to learn names at times because I knew they wouldn’t be there long. And then the biting started. I know biting can happen anywhere, but it was the way it was handled that I had a problem with. It wasn’t until after I voiced my concern was the child separated from mine....which to me seems like would be the first line of defense. But it just seemed like more excuses were made protecting the biter than my child. I was even given a highlighted handout of why biting happens and why they weren’t going to/or allowed to do anything as far as “punishment†to that child. Even though their own handbook clearly states that biting would not be tolerated. My son was bit a total of five times - the last two being after I spoke up and coincidently the last two were not noticed or witnessed by the staff. I had to bring it to their attention. Negligence or an attempt to brush it under the rug? Video tapes were watched and my child was even accused of biting himself on one of the two incidents not documented. No definitive answers came from the tapes and I decided to pull my child. But not until after I had paid the next weeks tuition. To which I requested a refund, as we were told previously that that wouldn’t be a problem if we felt our child wasn’t safe. (Biting is a safety issue. People can lose limbs and/or become seriously infected by human bites.) A second phone call was made regarding this refund and was told the director was busy but would be given a message. Still have not heard back and it’s been two weeks since we pulled him.

After reading these reviews, Im not only hurt but outraged by the accusations made. I know for a fact that Mrs. Hatcher works very hard to keep and maintain a healthy, safe and well coordinated educational program for the kids as well as the staff. I ve observed Mrs Hatcher, on several occasions, work late (on her hands and knees) to make sure that her program exceeds standards. If there`s any questions, I urge to schedule a tour of the facility. Oh yeah! I never got around to even saying thank you to Mrs Hatcher for taking my daughter during my emergency on such short notice when I didnt have any money. Hows that for character? Shes the most humble person I know.
