Dr. Lane and his staff are absolutely amazing! He sits down and explains what is going on, takes the time to really get to know the pets and the owners, and clearly has a love for animals. I have visited Aberlea two times now, once for a client of mine and now for my own pup; I could not ask for better service and care.

If you're a pet owner who wants to ensure that your vet knows your pet and genuinely cares, then Aberlea is the place for you. Dr. Lane has created a unique, attentive, and calm environment that is THE BEST vet experience we have ever had. When we go to Aberlea it is no longer is a dreaded/stressful vet visit, but rather a calm and personable one. Not only does Aberlea offer a great environment but more importantly he has an attentive and thorough approach to his animals. We are a part of the VLP program. VLP, vet life planning, is a membership that Aberlea offers-- created to develop a customized life plan for your pet. VLP provides pets with the best and longest life possible through recommendations curated by Dr. Lane's collaboration with your feedback as the pet owner. For our family VLP was a no brainer! Through VLP, we pay a monthly rate that covers two annual visits (every 6 months) and any time our pet is sick we can come in free of charge. The VLP program enables Dr. Lane to get to know the animals that he cares for. By getting to know the animals he cares for, it enables him to provide the best recommendations possible. Before committing to the VLP program I ran the numbers of how much we were spending at our previous vet the year prior. The cost came out the same, BUT at Aberlea the level of care far exceeds any other vet we have been to. Our labradoodle underwent ACL surgery a few years ago and Dr. Lane has provided us with a life plan for him that provides us with a peace of mind, knowing we are doing everything we can to give him the best life possible. As much joy as our labradoodle bring us, our family finds it our responsibility to do everything that we can to give them the best life possible. Aberlea enables us to do so!

I met Dr. Lane at another practice when we first moved to Murfreesboro. He was kind, thorough, and actually took more than five minutes with us explaining what our dog needed to be well. When I learned he opened his own practice, I spent some time trying to find him because his previous practice wouldn't let me know where he moved. I've had animals for 50 yrs, and Dr. Lane is by far the best vet we've ever had. Even my son's girlfriend who brings her corgi to him says. "Every time I talk to Dr. Matt, I feel everything is alright in the world. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience with Dr. Lane. Ford is not a normal patient and he took care of him anyways. We look forward to using him as our vet going forward.
