Very organized and fast although you have to go to the WIC office by the area you live in. But they do set your appointment for you versus waiting on hold to speak with a representative.

Ive been calling for 2 weeks trying to renew and no one is answering. Customer service is pathetic

Its sad how no one is ever available to answer the phone. I have been trying to get in touch with somebody for almost 8 months trying to renew my wic. Agents answer the phone and hang up in your face. Customer service is very poor.

The first time I was able to get WIC while pregnant was pretty okay. Long wait times on hold but it got worked out. But now I cant even get someone to answer the phone. The phone number that is listed on my first acceptance letter is no longer in service. The main number makes you select a WIC clinic from the list and either say its the wrong clinic and they transfer you to an answering service or they just dont answer. None of the 50 messages I have left has been acknowledged. Also, I am waiting on my snap benefits to be processed and they are months behind because of their new computer system. So I am working poor with an 12 year old and an 10 month old and I cant get any help from the Memphis community programs. Right now Im only able to get help from food banks. I paid taxes for years as a single childless bartender and now I need the help from those taxes I gave to the government and I cant get a can of formula or a bag of oranges without cutting into my gas budget, sons scout budget or my bill money. We all work and pay taxes so that when life gets tough we can help each other, but currently none of it is getting handled properly and its causing families to suffer. Get it together Memphis.

I was waiting for 1 hour 20 minutes and they never helped me, I had to hang up and call again and I couldn't get through
