Food was really good and the band was awesome. It was expensive though, and service was slow. Fried green tomatoes werr perfrct, and alligator bites was the best I've had

The gumbo is delicious. The receipts and accounting leave something to be desired. For two people to each have a meal and a soda, youre going to tally up $45 in your head but see a bill showing $70 and after tip its going to be over $80. They have a 5% to 6% charge for credit cards but I also think they charged me $20 for a cup of gumbo when a bowl usually costs $11. Math aint mathing.

At night, it seems dim lit rustic with an old charm, but in the day it just seems old dark and dreary. The food was OK, but the look of some things in there makes you judge how old it is and maybe could use some updating or a clean clean. Customer service was very nice. The bathrooms are a little hard to find but if you look at the T-shirt casing, it will be down that hall so we all found that funny. The catfish was good, but the ribs were decent. I would eat them. Im not sure if I would buy them again. I guess I just expected them to be a little more impressive because of the location and how long its been there. They have four bars. Their live music is always great. Maybe not full dinner plans but would definitely stop for drinks, a show, and a snack. Vegetarian options: There are no vegetarian options here outside of maybe fried green tomatoes, french fries, side of vegetables and smoked potatoes. Dietary restrictions: There are one of two salad options, some vegetables, and smoked baked potatoes. Outside of these three, you would probably obliterate your diet plans. Parking: There is some free street parking available and some of the street parking has meters near so do be careful with that. There are lots of parking lots some are free and some has a cost. You would simply pay that amount at the booth in the lot yourself, grab the ticket that it dispenses and put iton the dashboard of your car before leaving. Parking garages are available too. Theyre just all located another block or so away. Kid-friendliness: Maybe during the lunch hour, it would be OK to take your child. Otherwise I would definitely not call this a kid, friendly location.

What a fantastic place to listen to music and have a bite to eat and a drink. The music was fantastic. But the star of the night was our waitress/bartender/hostess Taj. She was doing it all with an incredible attitude. Id rate her higher than a 5 if I could. Dont miss this place!
