This place is the reason people do not seek the help they need. If you have a past, please do not go here. Your progress and hard work will not be considered. They are paid to lock you up. Just make sure you have a Medical Power of attorney if you go here or your rights will be violated.

Sorry but after reading the reviews I went and read the employee reviews on indeed. Sounds like this place is terrible whether you are a patient or an employee. Nope no way am I sending a loved one there.

Dr Trautman has been an incredible help to our family during a challenging time. We have a family member that recently had an acute mental crisis and he was under the care of Dr Trautman at Crestwyn Behavioral Health. Dr Trautmans kind, caring, honest, straightforward and professional manner was a comfort and he still continues to be an incredible resource. We want to support our family member through a newly diagnosed mental illness and Dr Trautman has been readily available to advise us. Our family is grateful for the excellent, genuine and thoughtful care Dr Trautman has provided. He is an excellent doctor (and teacher).

5 stars is an understatement as it pertains to Dr Lucas Trautman, who was my sons doctor during a brief stay at Crestwyn Behavioral Health. Our family was in uncharted waters upon our sons arrival at Crestwyn and Dr Trautman was able to help us navigate through a very difficult time in a patient, considerate and professional manner. Having a competent, caring doctor overseeing our sons care during an an acute mental crisis was a comfort to our son, our family and me. There are not many choices of facilities in the Memphis area when families are facing a mental illness crisis but we are fortunate that Dr Lucas Trautman (and Crestwyn Behavioral Health) provided a safe place place for our son to stabilize.

I did a 5 day detox at Crestwyn and it was a horrendous experience. I saw Dr.V once for 2 minutes my first day, did not see my therapist until 21 hours before my discharge. I was unaware I was even suppose to have a a therapist. I witnessed a staff member verbal threaten a patient with physical harm saying once everyone was asleep you will find out who is tough with no recourse for this employee. Said patient had his hands behind his back the whole time and never threatened this very large male employee. He was in fact back on the the unit the next night. My last day I witnessed a staff member push a 60 year old man. To say the female techs were rude would be an understatement, they were not happy unless they were looking at their phone or on FaceTime with their air pods in. They left a mentally challenged patient in his diaper for 2 days. The staff did nothing more than escort us to breakfast, lunch, dinner and let people out 4 times a day to smoke. The website says there are visitations but there were none. Family member trust the staff to take care of their loved ones but they do not. The mentally stable patients take care of the unstable. I personally will be looking to report this facility to the highest power. If I could give zero or negative stars I would. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS! DO NOT TRUST YOUR LOVED ONES AT THIS FACILITY!!!
