Absolutely one of the worst doctors at MOGA. Literally every other doctor here is way more polite and professional. I wish my wife had chosen anyone else. She spends very little time with her patients and dismisses almost every concern my wife has. Wife had a c-section and every other doctor recommended we have a visit 2 weeks later to check on healing status and Shannon said almost verbatim "I can't be bothered to check up on every single c section I'm way too busy for that." Avoid at all costs

I felt she was rude. There is a difference between being blunt and having a demeanor where you scoff and act like your patient is crazy for thinking they are pregnant because they had a positive home test and phantom kicks. Which btw she did not know what phantom kicks are, which should she not as an obgyn? She delighted in giving me the news that I am not pregnant (which would have made me feel like ___ if I was really hoping I was) based on their office pee test. They did a blood test and never called with the results. She did not even feel my belly. I felt rushed, like she did not want to fool with me. I give 2 stars because the staff was very nice.

I would not send my worst enemy to Dr. Shannon. I had an iud placed, it was fine for first year. Immediately after my yearly checkup I started spotting which I thought was due to just the paps being uncomfortable or iud irritated. Shortly after the spotting continued accompanied with nausea, diarrhea, cramping, headache and fever. I called Moga and went in to see Dr Shannon. She didnt recheck anything but told me it was out of her department and diarrhea would be gastro. I went to gastro and had a colonoscopy at 27 years old everything looked fine. I was in and out of the hospital at this point. Could not figure out what was wrong. Did 3 rounds of flagel. Nothing was helping. Admitted to the hospital with dehydration, lethargic and all the same symptoms. They did a scan and said I had a severe infection in my Fallopian tubes, I had to take more antibiotics clear it up enough, get iud removed. And then follow up appointments with ob to monitor infection going down and was told I may be left fertile. Dr Shannon never once came to the hospital, never called to check on me. I was furious that she was the first call I made and she dismissed me sending me to gastro. I got the run around and it was an ob issue I was dealing with the entire time. She was always so fast with her care, very blunt, not personal, fast- in and out. Not much explaining or time for questions. This happened several years ago - I sure hope shes better than she was back then. But Ill never go back nor recommend her to anyone.
