Not worth the prices they are charging IMO. Some of the dishes were decent but none were stellar. The pasta sauce was extremely over salted, pretty much inedible. Some of the dishes took forever to come out (over an hour), it seemed like there was some kind of problem in the kitchen. I wouldnt say the service was bad, but seemed pretty disorganized. The duck was pretty good so giving 2 stars for that, but for the prices they are charging there are way better restaurants in Memphis.

Food is expertly prepared with amazing flavor and technique. The service and staff are top notch, best around. Loved the old machinery shop turned elegant restaurant. It's a beautiful place. My favorites were the arancini and bucatini. I'll go back just for the bucatini alone. French onion ravioli has great flavor and the potato fondue was decadent and rich. When you see carrot cake on the menu of a place of this level, you know it has to be good. The carrot cake was over the top; the best I've ever had. They begin the meal with amuse bouche from the chef and end it with chocolates...how could you go wrong. Highly recommend. I'll definitely go back. Parking: Easy valet at the door. Parking garage directly across the street, open 24 hours.

Enjoyed the food and ambience for Valentines Day dinner very much. Was a little disappointed with the bread selection. I had read about them having an in house bread baker. I would have liked to have a choice between the sourdough or biscuit rather than just one option. Also would have liked help choosing a wine. Our waiter was very attentive but not knowledgeable about the wine menu. Im not sure if they have a sommelier but that service was not offered to us. That is a service that I expect at a fine dining restaurant.

Its one thing to enjoy good food, but quite another when served in an ambiance that transcends the ordinary and Amelia Genes does just that. The decor was nothing short of stunning, all the high-end finishes that exude elegance and refined taste. The drinks were phenomenal, make sure you try the Take a Chance and the Shadow Woman, you will not be disappointed. The winter greens with roasted root vegetables was the highlight of the courses for me. I couldve eaten a second bowl and then licked the plate. And the New England clam chowder was light, flavorful, and definitely something wed order again. Then we indulged in what you could tell were carefully curated pasta dishes. We had the reginette with wild mushroom and the ravioli. Just know that these aren't the typical pasta dishes weve come to expect. They arent super huge portions and are not meant to be the main attraction, but as a course before moving on to entres. Our waitress was phenomenal she was attentive without being intrusive, and her recommendations were spot-on. Dinner came to a close with my favorite dessert, crme brulee. It has a cherry sauce and what I think was a white chocolate mousse of some sort. And it was as visually stunning as it was delicious. I've bookmarked this gem as my go-to for an upscale and luxurious restaurant experience and you should too! Parking: Complimentary Valet Service
