Bridge Capital Thrift and Loan

Well, Bridge Capital has a decent business plan that addresses a market need.  They provide financing for investors in single family houses, something that is very difficult to get from a regular bank since the crash.  In addition to this, they are hard money lenders.  All this comes at a fairly hefty price: high interest rates, low LTV requirements (50%), and a bunch of points on the front end.  But if you are looking for financing in this asset class, you don't have a whole lot of options.Where they completely fall down is with their execution and customer service.  It is, in a word, terrible.  No callbacks.  Deadlines missed.  Customers (and potential customers) completely ignored.  I have seriously had better service dealing with the IRS.So, I'm not sure if you have other options, but if you do, I would exhaust those first before you have to go to Bridge.  Until they figure out that they need to actually pay attention to customers, stay away from this place.
