Door on room wouldn't shut properly, and elevator wasn't working most of the time that we needed it. Should have stayed at the Westin. I have contacted Hampton Inn as suggested by them. They NEVER contacted me back. Terrible customer service.

The room itself was very clean and comfortable. While there were a few minor hiccups with the heater and blinds needing attention (which the friendly staff promptly addressed), overall it was a pleasant stay. It's important to note that due to the hotel's lively location, it can get a bit noisy outside at times. However, the inside of the hotel remained nice and quiet. Walkability: Lots of bars and restaurants close by.

I apologize for the negative review, but would like to help others avoid a negative experience similar to the one I had. As we were doing a road trip that included 7 different hotels in roughly as many nights, I didn't research the review comments as well as I normally would have. I wish I would've and possibly avoided a negative experience. At any rate, as is most common now, I booked this stay online. There was a note at booking that indicated parties are not allowed in the hotel. Granted, this was a bit of a warning, but I thought maybe it was a good thing they kept an eye on things and management was involved. What there was not online at booking is a disclaimer for how loud the hotel is. However, there is a disclaimer on the check-in desk that, paraphrasing, says basically that the hotel is in the entertainment district and will be loud until the wee hours of the morning and to just embrace it. If this would've been included as a note at booking, I never would've booked the hotel, but by the time you reach that disclaimer at the counter, it's likely too late to cancel as it was in my case. So, as we could not cancel, we decided to check in. When we got to the room, we were met with the promised noise, but also a less-than-pleasant smell. We went down to the front desk to ask about a new room. In my opinion, the front desk was not helpful or kind. Also, the hotel was down to one elevator, and I think that one was on its way out as well. Based primarily on the noise, but also due to the smell, elevator, and apathetic front desk staff, we decided we would just check out and go somewhere else. I informed the front desk attendant that I would be checking out for those reasons. Again, I wouldn't say she was kind, she just informed me that she could not refund me. I said that was fine. I would raise the matter with Hilton, but was not going to get into any of that after such a long day. What I found out later, she didn't check me out as I had requested, but let the stay continue until the next day when I was automatically checked out. At any rate, I was fortunate to receive the points back after discussion with Hilton and we did end up at a very nice property for the remainder of our stay, but this was certainly a negative experience and inconvenience that could've been avoided if they had simply included the disclaimer with online reservations. This hotel was certainly not the right fit for my family vacation and I would recommend those that value quiet, cleanliness, and kindness look elsewhere as well. If you are looking to party until the wee hours of the morning, this hotel could be a good option as it is right off Beale Street. *This review is customer opinion based on actual customer experience.*

This is the perfect location. Centrally located to all the arenas, stadiums, theaters, and Beale Street. The rooms are nice too. Bring a noise machine or use your phone for white noise if you are sensitive to noise. It is right next to Beale Street. The hotel offers ear plugs. The only negative is that breakfast is consistently disappointing. We have stayed here a few weeks and by Hilton-Hyatt-Marriott standards the breakfast offerings are limited and low quality. Cereals, oatmeal, pastries, bagels, and two hot offeringssausage or bacon + eggs. The eggs are awful. Like I want to eat these, I really do, but I just cant awful. Large chunks and hard and rubbery. I fully recommend this hotel just be warned about the breakfast here.
