        5 stars for what it represents My sister lives in Memphis and she gave me a ride because I asked her when I left the airport. I do not recommend going without local Nadir and never on foot. The area gives a very very dangerous vibe. Go by car during the day and not get out of the car, take the photo, think about Aretha and walk for safety

        Really rough neighborhood be alert when going, definitely an early day trip not at night. Would be nice to do more for her the building is condemned but there is a historical marker there.

        Nice to see a part of history. The house is boarded up and fenced off but seems like people get inside to leave gifts and unfortunately vandalize the property. It would be wonderful if they restored it at some point. The entire neighborhood though could use some overall revitalization.
