Mutt Island Dog Daycare, Grooming, Extended Stay & Training

We had an impromptu trip to Memphis at the last minute. We had everything set and organized except for our precious Lady Belle. We called the last minute and asked if Mutt Island had room. He said "Of course I have room!" He thoroughly went through her vaccines shots. Asked a few questions about her personality and what socialization she had been exposed to since this was her first time at a daycare. He didn't want to overwhelm her. We came back a few hours later to a very happy yet tired dog. We were very happy with the professionalism and love for dogs the owner had. If ever in this area again, we will definitely utilize Mutt Island Day Care again !

Very protective fur-mom here. We have never boarded our 2 yr old Morkie. While on vacation in Memphis, TN, it was necessary to find somewhere to leave him for a few hours while we visited non dog friendly venues. After searching and checking reviews, we called Mutt Island Dog Care. They were so helpful in giving instructions for pre-visit and made it easy to check him in. It is a large facility and well maintained. I was very nervous about leaving him with strangers, however, Stan was comforting and assured me he was in good hands. We retrieved him after about 4 hours. We were able to see him sitting in his doggie room, and he looked quite comfortable and chill. For someone who spends almost all her time with her fur baby, Mutt Island Dog Daycare made this a very pleasant experience for both owner and pet. We will definitely use them again when in the Memphis area!

Lovely place! While traveling through Memphis, we wanted to do some activities without our dog, but our original plan fell through. Mutt Island was able to take our dog with little notice (but do bring vaccine records). The employee was kind, helpful, and personable. When we came to pick our dog up, he remembered who was ours without needing so much of a reminder. It was great to let our dog play at dog daycare while we did a tour and Graceland instead of getting stuck at the hotel. Definitely would recommend!
