Rented this place through a management company. Management company was fine but the place is not. Buildings are old but spacious. Whoever built this place is an absolute idiot for putting this right next to a train intersection. CONSTANT train horns go off every single night and multiple times a day. I might be borderline deaf at this point. Neighbors are a bunch of football players who party and leave trash everywhere in the lot while some others just litter, regardless of partying. During Tiger football games, people just park at will and don't even live there. People park in spots that aren't designated and sometimes I cant even park there IN A PLACE I PAY TO LIVE. That's not even the worst of it. Kids from Lundee, Orange mound, beyond Southern, and other areas have decided that the pool in here is a public pool, so they will hop the "security fence" everyday to swim and be loud. Cops are called repeatedly and the kids just come right back the next day. Got so bad that when the cops caught a couple of them, they threw rocks and shattered my gf's back windshield. There is actually 3 cars with broken windows due to them throwing rocks. HOA runs this property but refuses to do anything to help prevent the kids from coming in and wreaking havoc. The kids run amok in the property during the day, at night, and honestly whenever they want to at this point. They are juveniles so the cops cant even do anything once they catch them. Not as harmless as you think. If you are up for the challenge, be sure to ask questions and make sure you know what you are getting yourself into as I was careless enough to miss all the signs. It is manageable but be weary of what you pay for.
