Wife has a Volvo and finding a mechanic for it was a worry. This crew has taken care of everything on it for the past few years. They are absolutely amazing! Super friendly and have always thought they were looking out for us!

Charlie and crew always take excellent care of their customers. You keep us informed of the problem, how to fix it and always asks the customer if it okay to proceed with repairs/work.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A WOMAN. The staff since my first phone call have been rude and disrespectful. I called about an issues with my car dying with a new battery. When I made my appointment my car could not drive. I made an appointment a week out which was their closest appointment. Then during my appointment they discovered nothing is wrong with my car, but they didn't call me. No, they waited till I called them the next day and then proceed to talk over me the whole time telling me there was nothing wrong with my car. Finally he got frustrated, and he told me, "Well you go drive it around and find something wrong with it." So I did. My car died on the way to my job that I had to call out of, and by the grace of god somehow made it back to Davis Auto. I walked back inside and told him, "hey something is still wrong and here is what is going on." He kept interrupting me say "no one told me that" or "its a computer problem" I told him well I am trying to tell you now. Then he said he couldn't get me in for a computer problem for 2 more weeks, so thats 3 weeks they would have my car, and they still hadn't even really looked at it. Because if they would've checked the common issues of a battery they would've checked the starter and the alternator. Which did they did not do because once I left their shop after being yelled at, I called another place that said its probably my alternator. The boss guy has a "dad" mug sitting up at the counter, probably to make customers feel comfortable, and I can't imagine anyone with kids would let their 19 year old daughter walk out of an auto shop in tears because she has no car, no way to get home, and no other plan. Then they let me find my way home in my car that keeps dying. Its very obvious that he did not listen to me because when my boyfriend went into shop to drop off my key the staff was was attentive to him. Shops who disregard their customers like that are the same kind who also tend to overcharge where they can. ( from the rest of the reviews I see they do overcharge) I recommend MG auto. I called at 5:30 at night and they got me an appointment for the next morning as early as I could bring it in. The owner and his staff are very respectful, kind, and friendly. They listened to me, checked my alternator, and diagnosed that as the issue. Which is a lot easier to fix than a computer issue. I know this comment will not get them to do anything, but I hope when people read this that they will avoid the nightmare I did.

Can't say enough good things about this business. My wife and children were travelling across the country when the water pump on her truck failed along the way. The great folks at Davis immediately got her in the shop and fixed the issue so that her and the kids weren't stranded. And they did it in spite of the fact that they were obviously very very busy with their normal work load. They were kind, compassionate, and helpful. Thank God for the folks there and all they did to help with a short fused emergency repair.
