        Having a special needs child myself and hearing that Dustin Smith has made remarks to my brother calling him retarded is very heart breaking to me. Professionalism and maturity go hand in hand. Humans are humans. Reguardless of what happens when two people divorce, a lawyer should not overstep his position.

      After an investigation it was discovered that you are the sister of an opposing party that Mr. Smith had put in jail for failure to pay child support. We are proud of the job we do for our clients and are used to the opposing side and their families disparaging our name after such an unfortunate event. We wish you and your special needs child the best and have made a contribution to the Special Olympics in their name! We truly hope that after his incarceration in the Putnam County Jail that your brother has learned the importance of paying child support on his four children and how seriously the State of Tennessee takes this obligation.
