First of all, the price is unbeatable for the level of care you receive here! Top notch quality is an understatement. The staff are very polite and knowledgeable, the doctor treats your fur babies with extra love and care and she breaks things down in terms you can understand without making you feel small or like a bad pet parent. Have never had an issue getting an appointment quickly either, which is a huge plus!

Ive been taking my dogs this clinic for about 15 years and although the doctors are good, there is one staff member who has a terrible bedside manner. I dont know her name, but shes the one who never smiles and has kind of checked out look in her eyes. (She used to be engaged to Justin Parrot a while back is all I know). Ive never cared for her during the times that shes done her tech stuff on my dogs before the vet comes in but TODAY my little dog, Bella, had an accident in which she bumped her little head and was showing signs of a possible concussion along with a leg injury so I rushed her there. I called on the way there to preface the situation but, of course, I was put on hold for too long (horrible, obnoxious hold music, by the way) so I hung up. When my husband and I came in, we were obviously quite visibly distressed, the staff said in her usual monotone voice can I help you. Although the vet was still there, she gave some excuse that because it was so late in the day that the vet would be unable to provide any treatment for Bella. My husband asked if the vet could at least look at her and she replied in a robotic tone no and offered us a number to the emergency vet hospital. I know that if the staff would have been willing to actually use a little energy to walk a few steps to at least ask the vet, that Dr. Amber would have at least assessed Bella. We didnt receive one ounce of empathy from this woman and she wasnt willing to help us out in any way. The offer to give us emergency vet numbers was just her way of saying you need to leave so I can get out of here and start my weekend. I told her that she was heartless, and I would like to add another adjective to describe her- SOULLESS. Ive never been to an emergency vet, but I know people who have and they end up spending literally thousands of dollars and we currently dont have that type of money in this present economy. Its a shame that I have given my business to this place for so many years and cumulatively have spent THOUSANDS of dollars there, only to be turned away during a traumatic time with not even one bit of sympathy for our little dog. The lady didnt even expend the energy to give us even a fake Im sorry! This review will be followed up by a formal complaint to The Animal Hospital of Campbell County on Monday morning. Ive provided a pic of Bella because I know that anyone reading this who loves animals would never have acted in such a callous manner as this lady did if you saw this little injured baby and her worried parents come to you desperate for help. This lady needs to get into a field that is a good fit for her. Perhaps a jailer, prison warden, the military? Just throwing out some alternate career choices, at no charge.
