SP+ Parking

Tried everything to get set up to pay. The website assured me that you just drive in and drive out and it would charge your card. But came out to a "parking violation" of $25. Which I am sure is their way to get money in their pocket. Won't be parking here again. Do not use this. It doesn't work. This place changes ged into a monthly pay parklot. But has no sign to say so. Do not use.

We parked here. It seemed reasonably priced, but the phone-based payment setup was a bit of a pain doing it the first time. We didnt get mugged or broken into. That seems like a win for a parking lot? Someone with a camper was being clever and staying there overnight. If you own a camper, thats a cheap and brilliant way to create a home base for exploring downtown Knoxville and other cities with parking lots (not parking garages).

Received 3 incorrect parking tickets and no one will answer the phone for an explanation.

Do not park here. Payment is restricted to a digital platform. I tried to pay that way and the QR code system failed. I could not make payment any other way. Received a "Violation" by mail later....$5 for parking and $25 for not paying. I disputed the $25 and included a screenshot of my attempt to pay at the time of parking as well as an email from a 3rd party saying their "system had not registered my license plate at the time". My dispute was refused and I was told no appeal was available. Pay the $30. I see that I'm not the only victim of this apparent scam.
