I recommend Dr Brett Smith 100%. In a time when its hard to find the care in healthcare you will not regret choosing his practice. If youre done with wasting precious time trying to solve the riddle of insurance coverage choose his practice. In the end Im at peace with paying for something out of my pocket that I could potentially do anyway because of loopholes that put another buck into deceit. Dr Brett listens , gives me options , unlike other doctor who will just tell you what to do . I am a physical therapist and I was looking for a doctor to be a part of my team to take care of me personally . He looks at my labs and x ray and other pertinent medical condition but most importantly he ask for my activities , my limitations, my goal and my opinion . Very seldom doctor do that anymore due to insurance limitation . He is the best not just a Rheumatologist that I have ever met and very good doctor too in general . His team in his office is excellent and you dont feeel like you are in a medical office because they are so good on what they do . Thank God that such a good doctor still exist .

I have been seeing Dr. Smith for a little over a month. I moved to TN about 2 years ago and trying to get in and established with HC providers in TN has been a nightmare. I am using him as a GP and Rheumatology. I have been looking for a diagnosis for almost 3 years. I believe I have an autoimmune disorder. He was able to confirm that in 3 weeks with just a couple of blood tests when no one else could. My first visit was well over an hour as he takes his time, LISTENS and gives good constructive feed back and options. He believes in incorporating holistic health as a compliment to tradiitional medication and looks for the underlying cause and not just treating the symptoms. I have worked in HC over 10 years and unfortunately this is not always the norm. When you find a good doctor who listens, cares AND is good at his job hold on to them. I will be a patient till the day he retires. His staff is also very friendly and thorough especially when getting diagnostics and testing scheduled. It is a stress free environment and process. Their pricing on testing and scripts is cheaper than every where else. I wish all practices adopted this model. I am over an hour away from Knoxville so the telehealth option is a life saver and I love that I can text and email my physician. He ALWAYS repsonds. I really have absolutely no complaints. Keep up the good work!
