Elder's Ace Hardware- Rocky Hill

My online order of solar eclipse glasses from an online store wasn't going to be on time for the eclipse. Like everyone else I ran to Ace Hardware last minute and was informed a delivery would arrive at 10am today. Got there at 10 to be told they may not be there for another hour so I wasted some time and came back then joined a line of people to wait after shopping for stuff I needed in the store. Another customer and employee took notice after waiting the first hour that I'm pregnant and offered a chair to sit in and wait (also offered chairs to other guests in line), provided water, popcorn as a snack, and continued to check in throughout the time I waited. While I know it was a pain for them to be blown up with people scrambling for glasses last minute, their customer service went above and beyond expectations. Them allowing us to wait while being considerate of potential needs we had pregnant or not solidified my choice to return and use them for any other hardware needs. To everyone on staff today April 7th 2023 between 10am - 1pm thank you for your kindness, customer service, and consideration.

I recently purchased a Big Green Egg along with the Green Egg Nesting System from this store and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The store manager Shelby was incredibly knowledgeable with the product and took the time to work with me to ensure I received exactly what I was looking for. Not only was the purchasing experience excellent but the delivery was outstanding as well. Steve went above and beyond to ensure that my Big Green Egg and Nesting System was carefully and properly setup exactly where I wanted it. Overall, I highly recommend this store for your grilling needs. They have a good variety of quality products and a team ready to assist you with your selection.

It is nice to have a hardware store in your neighborhood. I dont have to travel across Kingston Pike. Very helpful and extremely nice to me and my dog.
