The entire staff went above and beyond customer service satisfaction this morning for my pick up order.

Ive been driving for Uber Eats to make some side money while things are slow, and I had an order come through for this McDonalds. I accepted the order pretty quickly and only had about 4 miles to drive to get there. I arrived at 10:36pm, spent literally two minutes at the drive thru with complete silence, then after saying Hello! a couple of times a guy came on and said Ill be with you in one moment. He then came back on and asked my order. I said I was here to pick up an Uber Eats order. He then told me that they dont take Uber Eats orders past 10:30pm. I told him that the order had to have already came through because I accepted it. At 10:41pm after he started to just be silent, I ended up having to cancel the order. The person who ordered may get their money back, but who will reimburse me for my gas getting there McDonalds?? As I was leaving I looked online to find out that this McDonalds doesnt even close until 11pm. So they most certainly could have made this very simple order that came through. This was just pure laziness from my perspective; and the customer did not deserve that, and I did not deserve that.
