East Tennessee Children's Hospital

My daughter was up there 2 times in one day, for stitches coming out. Morning/ day staff in emergency department was super nice and informative. However when we went back to emergency that evening the night staff was totally different. Not kind, acting like they dont know anything. I would ask question their response was I dont know about everything. There was hardly any nurses on the floor. Or doctors. Terrible attitudes and spiteful. Theres a huge difference between day staff and evening staff.

No wait in the er the doctors especially Dr Peeden and nurses were amazing with my son and very informative which is nice for new parents like me and my husband

DR. Strickland Is a joke this place needs new drs that care about the patients and not the money.

This hospital staff went above and beyond for caring for my 1.5 year old son! Dr.Joe in the emergency room was phenomenal!! He listened to our family history and our sons history and took everything into consideration. I felt heard for the first time in a long time! I wish he was a pediatrician because I would switch to him in a heart beat! He even followed up with us while we were in the PICU and came to check on all of us! Charea made sure our room was cleaned. She went above and beyond for customer service. She held a conversation with me and helped my mental health more than she will ever know. She is overworked and desperately needs help on her floor but she kept a smile the entire time! The world needs more people like her. Her smile lights up a room. I pray only good things happen to her. I will definitely bring my son back here for more care if ever needed.
