Ive used ABA-Advisors for 5 years for both my LLC and personal taxes and personally worked with Preston Rouse. The attention to detail and communication is phenomenal. Every question is answered in a timely manner and handled with professionalism. I highly recommend ABA.

I wish I had read these reviews before engaging with ABA. We were referred to a specific accountant with ABA who left shortly after we signed on. I can see now why he left. We were transferred to another advisor, Chris, who is shown nothing but condescension, ineptitude, and a disregard for basic customer service. We engaged ABA to file our taxes and advise us on the best way to structure our business. We were steered towards filing as an S-Corp without much explanation of what that means besides "you'll save money". ABA set us up as an S-Corp and promptly forgot about us. After multiple reminders, out reaches, calls, and emails, they filed our taxes. In October. And on top of that, never properly informed us on the legal and tax ramifications of being an S-Corp and what we are responsible to do to be in compliance. It wasn't until we signed on with a new accountant that they found out we owe a $25,000 tax bill. That is 1/4 our annual revenue as a brand new practice. We reached out to our accountant only to find out she left the company. I wonder why. We were directed to talk to our "business advisor", Chris. Here is how that communication went: 1/25/23- we reached out about the issue, emailed a few times back and forth with Chris' assistant. We were told Chris would reach out. A few days passed and we didn't hear anything. We followed up and complained enough until we got put on Chris' books for a call on 2/1. 2/1- we had a call with Chris where he tried to bully and mansplain away the mistake. We ended the call by him saying he was going to make a few calls and "figure out what happened". We asked when we would hear back and he said by end of the day. Can you guess what happened? If you guessed he didn't follow through, you'd be right. 2/2- to be fair, we received this text at 8:22 am, "I have not forgotten about you. I had a meeting run really late and did not have a chance to call people back internally". Can you guess when we had contact next? If you said we never heard from him again (it's currently 2/23) you'd be right! 2/10- we texted to follow up, no response. 2/14- left voicemails. SENT US A $500 BILL (still no idea what this is for or why they didn't charge the card on file that we designated would be used to pay for fees. We can't get anyone on the phone to answer these questions either). Happy Valentine's Day to us. 2/22- left voicemails, emailed. No response. 2/23- texted, no response. Save your money, save your business, save your sanity. You'd be better off having a kindergarten do your taxes, they'd probably at least call you back. **UPDATE 3/1- Still no word from ABA**

I have used ABA since 2017 for my clinic and real estate company. Bill and Daniel are extremely eloquent at what they have to offer to you as the client. They are also a great resource of specialty services beyond accounting which is phenomenal. As a new client just make sure to synchronize your expectations to ensure a smooth process for you and their team. Its extremely rare to find a company like ABA that you can count on. Thank you guys for all your guidance and oversight!

As a former employee of ABA, I can attest that some clients do not submit their financial documents in a timely manner nor communicate efficiently and expect the company to provide reports at a moments notice. Reminders for document submission are sent to the clients and they are ignored for months without resolve. The CEO is a great guy that is highly knowledgeable, and other staff at ABA work diligently to produce highly accurate reports and submit tax filings in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone that needs a trustworthy accounting firm to guide them in minimizing their tax burden. Preston is one of the best!

Wildly incompetent. Overpromise, Underdeliver. They literally forgot to do my tax returns for my personal and businesses. Preston is a nice guy but he doesn't care at all, in my experience. Do what you want, but having now worked with another firm after ABA that overdelivers, is incredibly engaged, tailors everything to your long term goals, and has innovative tax strategies... I have severe regrets engaging with ABA and would never give them a nod of approval if asked.
