Multiple visits to the same provider and somehow Ballad can bill some to correct insurance but other claims get declined b/c they are billed to an insurance my father has not had in over 10 years. How does this happen, when you go to the Hematologist every 2 weeks and they confirm your insurance EVERY time. Local office does nothing to help correct their error. Again - not sure how this even happens. This is for my 86 year old father and it causes nothing but unnecessary stress to an elderly recently widowed veteran. I'm an RN and how I see certain offices treat their patients is SO WRONG. If you work in the medical field in any capacity- you should be there for the patient and to help them!!

Everytime I go to their er. I receive multiple bills. Very confusing and hard to keep up with and they can't wait to turn you over to collections. Can't someone combine the Fxxing bills into one. My insurance paid 90 percent but I still owe thousands. How is this possible on 5 staples for a cut

I've seen this happen to too many people. If you have insurance that Ballad doesn't accept, get ready to be turned over to collections. No negotiation, no payment plan options, and you'll never hear about the so called financial assistance they claim to offer. You won't even receive a bill in the mail. Nope, straight to collections. Shameful.

I would also give a 0 rating if possible. I have tried repeatedly to correct billing for my knee surgery in October 2023. Ballad is billing the wrong source repeatedly and with every phone call I am told it will be corrected and sent to the proper source for payment. Absolutely exasperated at the total inefficiency and professionalism I have experienced trying to get this resolved. Sadly, theres nobody to go to since the whole process seems to be whirling about in outer space!

Ballad Sucks! I have been dealing with a hospital bill since November 2022 for my step daughters surgery due to a sports injury. Our insurance has paid well over $7000 and there is a $658 bill left that the schools insurance company is supposed to pay. The schools insurance says they need a UB04. I have been calling Ballad literally every week trying to get this so they can be paid the $658 ... School insurance still has not received it.... Ballad is so kind that they now have turned this over to Wakefield and Associates... The schools insurance has now called Wakefield and they will not remove the collection... I have called Ballad again.... I was told they can escalate this to a supervisor and it could take up 10 business days for them to call me back... are you kidding me... I literally have spent hours trying to get this resolved... guess the attorney needs to take over!
