My recent experience at your store left me absolutely fuming, and I swear I won't be returning. I've always been a loyal customer for several years because of the convenience of its location near my house, saving me from driving to N. Johnson City. But today was a different story. I had a lawn crisis with a leaking hose and rushed to the store hoping to find a coupling to fix it. The girl at the first stool was helpful, guiding, and even walking me to the hoses section personally. However, the real trouble began at the checkout counter with an elderly man on the middle stool. He was the most unhelpful person I've encountered, acting like my request was a burden. No greeting, no personality, and definitely not the customer service I've experienced here before. With nothing priced, I spent 15 minutes trying to find the right item, back and forth between the lawn section and the checkout counter. At checkout, he barely acknowledged me, refused my debit card, and left me humiliated over a $2.59 purchase, telling me I have to meet a $5.00 threshold in order to use card. It's shocking that a store representative would treat a returning customer this way. I had to abandon my afternoon plans to go to a big-box store on the other end of town. This isolated incident has ruined my perception of your store's customer service. I can't comprehend why you employ someone so indifferent and negligent. The fact that I've used my debit card here before for smaller purchases makes it even more infuriating. I had to express my frustration in this post because this uncaring middle-stool employee ruined my entire day. Your store's reputation is tarnished by such behavior. The young lady at the end stool was the only bright spot in this otherwise dreadful experience. I won't stand for such treatment, and I won't return to your store again. It's a shame that you can't find employees who genuinely care about your business and customers. This whole ordeal has been an utter disappointment, and it's a shame that my loyalty to your store has been met with such disrespect. I was in your store at approximately 3pm on July 18, 2023. Ralph
