    Friend confirmed appointment via text and was told she was not on scheduled even after showing them the confirmation. She was was having dizziness and headache was having hard time after already been in ER earlier this week for extremely high blood pressure. Office turned her away even after she told them she was light headed and told her to go to ER. I cant believe health care professionals would risk other people lives by sending patient out of office who had confirmed appointment and was having severe symptoms. Very disappointed in this office and my family will be finding new doctors.

    I called a few days ago to have several RXs refilled. All were sent to the Walmart pharmacy except for one. I repeatedly left mess for Brighton Family Med. to let them know that one of my RXs had still not been sent to my pharmacy. This morning I left another mess at BFM. I finally called & spoke w/Alex & explained why I was calling. I was put on hold & when she came back to the line, she said they had already tried to send it to the pharmacy but it would not go through & that I would have to go there & pick up a written prescription. I ask if they would try to send it one more time & she refused. I then called Walmart Pharmacy & the Pharmacist also called BFM, informed them who they were & that they were calling about my prescription & she was put on hold for 5 minutes & no one ever came back to the line. The Pharmacist called me back & informed me what happened so I called BFM once again. When the female Alex answered I exp that both myself & my Pharmacist have both ask for them to please send my rx to the Walmart Pharmacy again & was put on hold. Wehn Sharon came to the phone, she kept repeating that they already tried to send it a couple of times since I called it in a week ago & that they refused to send it to my pharmacy & that I would have to drive to BFM & pick it up myself. Every time that I ask why they refused to attempt to sent it again, she would just repeat herself & refused. I then said that I will be contacting Dr. Cook & Dr. Wallace & tell them that my Pharmacist & I have spent out time calling them just to be put on hold or to be refused to resend my rx & that I can show them the documented time that I have spent on the phone with them. Only then did Sharon say that she'd call my pharmacy. This is ridiculous & inexcusable! I will be reporting this unprofessional behavior & show how many repeated calls that I had to make & even my pharmacist made in order for one person to resend a rx to a pharmacy. This has never happened to me before & I'm hoping that it doesn't happen again. If anyone else has received less than professional assistants from BFM, please take the time & post it because no one should be paid to refuse a simple service to a customer. SUSAN THOMAS

    I have been seeing Jennifer Chaney as my Primary Care Physician for over 2 years. She is a nurse practitioner for Dr. Cook. She is excellent. The entire facility is friendly and helpful. Very nice change from the norm. The only thing I would change if I could is add more handicap parking.

    The medical staff is 5 star and MOST of the office staff is, as well. You are seen quickly and when the doctor or NP sees you, it is never rushed. They truly care.
