Carroll County Electric Dept

If you live in the area and want on grid electricity, they are your only option that I know of.. Going off grid is too expensive and I have no desire to go Amish So Im not complaining about the service, they actually do a good job, and seem to take care of emergencies quickly..! My reason for 3 stars would be: in todays technological age, they dont have a notification system for planned maintenance outages. I understand the need to have power off for work and maintenance, but even something as simple as a social media post with the planned outage area and estimated times would be appreciated

A link to report outages on the website would be useful. Especially since no one answers the phone during an outage at any time of day.

Wow, you call and ask a 2 simple questions about your bill. They become the most rude and disrespectful and dismissive people I have ever seen.

Worst electric company ever come in contact with. Power outages weekly. Poor communication with customers.
