        They sent an unpaid $54 bill from 2018 to a collections agency in 2022 after never contacting me about the balance during the 4 years, 2018-2022, that I had an account in good standing with them. Somehow, it wasnt until I moved to another neighborhood and closed my account that they discovered this 4 year old unpaid bill. My credit went from 750 to 650 after they did this. 100 points subtracted from my credit score for a $54 utility bill. It should be illegal to do this. I paid it in full after the first contact from the collections agency, but that was a year ago, and my credit is still too low to qualify for a car loan. My car got totaled while sitting in a parking lot unoccupied 6 months ago, and I have no way to buy a new vehicle. I even had to show my apartment complex the receipt of payment because they otherwise wouldnt have let me live here. Ridiculous. Even after you pay, it doesnt go away. Why couldnt HUD have just contacted me? Its $54! I would have paid! I have no other negative marks on my credit report. I just dont understand.

        They are some of the most unreasonable people to work with. They will not work with you. Turned water off over a misunderstanding of the amount and paid $13.02 less accidently and they refuse to work with me. Charged me an extra $35 fee because it was turned on and they had to turn it back off, because of a misunderstanding. Couldn't have reached put and said hey was this a mistake? It's $13 short. And they then attempt to say they have called many times when you have recieved 1 (one) from them at 4pm when they close. Employees are unprofessional which is not surprising considering whom their "supervisor" is. Looking into selling my house to move out of their district.

        Disconnected 3/20/2024 - Reconnected after speaking with a representative and making a partial payment. Disconnected Again 3/21/2024 - Added $35 Disconnect fee for $13.02 owed. Why was it reconnected if you're just going to disconnect it the very next day? Just so you could add another fee? This place is horrible.
