DG Market + pOpshelf

I will give this location for STARZ if William from ASPCA was an actual employee, because as soon as I walked up, he smiled and greeted me introducing me to the organization. As I was shopping, I picked up my items went to the front to check out. No one offered to check me out, however they had an ear for story that a customer was given them about an old man after he passed me without speaking. This frustrated me because customers come first. Ive been a dental hygienist for 14 years and that was always my mission statement.

Most of the time when I go to a Dollar General it's almost impossible to find anyone out in the store to help you. I've even had to wait at the register when only 1 person was working and they were out in the store stocking shelves. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised to find someone pretty quickly to help me find what I was looking for.

This location offers self check out and is well ran with plenty of attractive staff. Pop shelf offers more holiday decor as well as home goods, frozen food and produce than other locations. We call this the "Good Dollar General" ha ha. There is a Dollar General within walking distance (also on Lebanon Road, Next to Post Office) but is often out of items that we prefer to buy from DG. Although the post office location fired all of the staff and remodeled they just don't seem to be able to get it together. Its alot better than it was, at least they are usually open during hours of operation while they were unpredictably closed at any given time. They are often out of milk and other stables. I guess thats a popular location... its unreliable. Go to the Pop Shelf local its worth the extra mile drive.
