    The staff was great, however, I was never told Id be charged over 100.00 for the rinse, toothpaste and some other liquid I was given after my cleaning. My list of charges was long in the first place, which I fully understood, but had I known all the aftercare items I may have needed were costing me almost half of the out of pocket I was already paying I most certainly would have purchased those things elsewhere. Its difficult enough to be told you need to pay 800.00 out of pocket AFTER your insurance pays, but to slide that extra $ in without a single mention of it is unprofessional.

    I went here for a few years but they really went downhill last year. They couldn't execute on their appointments, I was going every 6 months for a cleaning previously. We always did x-rays and cleaning on the same appt and at the beginning of last year, I show up for a routine appt to do cleaning/x-ray and they tell me they won't be doing the cleaning because the hygienist was out. Weird they didn't say that at first but no problem. I was finally put back on the schedule a couple months later. I came back and the hygienist was out again. Made another appointment, came back in - again, couldn't do the cleaning. Since they couldn't clean my teeth after the 4th appointment, I finally gave up. On top of that, Aspen would tell me that they took my insurance, then I would get a bill from them after the appt, only to find out from the insurance that they were out of network. They could never explain to me why they would tell me that I was in-network when I was out-of-network because Humana listed the address as a provider. Humana told me that the dentist needed to be contracted by them and Aspen had no clue what I meant by that when I asked them. For routine cleanings, I had overlooked the out-of-network expenses because it wasn't that expensive and it was easier since they already had my history and info. Another few months later, I finally mustered up the energy again to try and find another dentist that was in my network and now I need minor work (even though I brush/floss) because I had been canceled on for 6 months and had lost my trust their scheduling. I really wouldn't have cared if they had called me and told me that they couldn't do my appointment, but it's totally inconsiderate to let their customers show up knowing that they can't deliver on their services, after their customers had already planned their day around the appointment. They had been fine before all this and the actual dentist is really nice but the office is a mess, was difficult to reach and couldn't answer any questions. I was really disappointed to go through all that with them.

    At Aspen Dental @ 4054 Lebanon pike, Hermitage,TN was the Worst & Unprofessional dental/doctor experienced that I have ever had in all my 60+ Life!!! The service sucked!! They were Unbelievabley Slow. After Finally being seen by the Dentis I was left sitting Up in dental chair waiting to talk to Mgr futher. I was then moved to another place & waited 1 hour. I Had To Ask how much longer & employee told me 15 minutes . That tuned into 45 minutes. I walked around the hallway(s) ooking for help. NO DOCTOR/WORKER was in sight. The Place would have been a candy store for a Theif. I went out front..No receptionist there. Finally I Yelled for Help & she came from back breakroom & said Everyone was at Lunch all at same time. Noone every had any contact or concern after I seen the doctor. I was Very Unhappy & Upset & In Disbelief. I will Never go to Aspen Dental Again!!!
