Avoid Aspen at all costs! Ive been to 2 different Aspens now (thinking 1 was just a bad experience and not Aspen as a whole). Both was horrible. Yes the $19 for the 1st visit SOUNDS like a great deal and it is if you just need X-rays. However, I went in with massive pain, from an impacted (and broken) wisdom tooth. I was advised that I need all my teeth pulled, which I already knew. I told the dentist Id been taking Tylenol around the clock for the pain, but still not getting any relief. Once I got in the finance office, the lady started going over everything with me as far as pricing etc. I was told I couldnt get just the impacted tooth cut out, because the oral surgeon wont pull just 1 tooth. I was actually considering getting all of them pulled and getting dentures (almost $13,000 total and 23 teeth). However, while going over everything, I was read off my prescriptions and found out I was prescribed 800mg naproxen (alieve). I told the lady I cant take high doses for naproxen like that due to stomach issues. She let the doctor know and the script was then LOWERED down to 500mg of Tylenol. TYLENOL! Not even Tylenol 3. Just plain old Tylenol that you buy otc and that Id already told them Id been taking around the clock for weeks without relief. I was done at that point. If they cant even take care of their patients pain any better than that before big procedures, I dont trust that theyll take care of my pain after having 23 teeth pulled (2 of which will need to be cut out). That goes to show their lack of care for their patients discomfort and its not just the 1 location. I had an impacted wisdom tooth cut out at the Aspen dental in Lebanon TN in 2018 and ended up with TMJ from it and they had the audacity to try to give me muscle relaxers for the pain! I will not be letting Aspen Dental touch me again and they just lost a $13,000 job.
