Heritage Community Bank

Going by first impressions, I would not want to bank here. Not a very welcoming atmosphere. After my brief wait to open an account, the representative stood in the doorway of her office and said, "are you waiting for me?" She then walked back to her desk. No smile, no greeting, no introduction, no invitation. It turned out they could not help me during that visit as they required more documentation. I knew I would not return to this bank. I went across the street to a different financial institution. I had the opposite experience there. The banker was friendly, professional and accommodating.

My debit card stopped working, so I went to find out why and I was told open revolving accounts. I had no idea what that meant so, I asked and was told it's when you have more than one account open. Although, in the 8yrs I have banked with them I have only ever had one account. They couldn't even find another one, but my card was never turned back on. Also, my online banking has never worked once.

Very helpful and friendly manager, Kim. Gave us the checking account. information we were seeking. Sincerely wanted us to become customers. Very attractive exterior and lobby with a drive up teller.
