Was advised the Goodlettsville location was closest Crossroads that does chest X-rays, even though Greenbrier is where my husband is usually seen. So, a friend with 4 WHEEL Drive, picked him up and drove 25 miles one way in dangerous road conditions to the Goodlettsville location for an 8:15 a m. appointment. Practitioner or PA or whatever the heck she was, refused a CXRAY - "your lungs don't sound that bad" after a week of coughing up tablespoons of thick greenish, gray phlegm, sneezing constantly, up by 3:30 am just trying to clear lungs and sinuses, inspiratory wheezing, short of breath, feels "awful", SATs 94% at best. No sore throat whatsoever, no temp. Also refuses script for decongestant and cough medicine....even though he has a 7 pound weight loss from a visit a week ago from poor appetite. "Strep!" So more antibiotics, even though he'd been on several different ones for the past several weeks. "Supposed to feel better within 24 hours." Still coughing up tons of mucus well into his first dose of antibiotic. Calls back to make yet another request for a decongestant and cough syrup. Argues with him and finally relents to call in more scripts. By the time it gets filled several hours later, we cannot get out of our driveway and have lost access to the 4 Wheel Drive. Woke up again at 3:30 coughing, hacking, choking on phlegm. What planet are these people even on?

Dr Joslin and staff are the best they are kind. They always have your best interest at heart. They take the time to answer your questions and alway make you feel important.
