Mad Dog's Creamery & Donuts

Recommend the Gatlinburg location. The donuts and apple fritters are so good, and the sea salt Carmel cheesecake milkshakes are amazing. The employees were so kind and funny. We will be back the next time we're in Tennessee.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. We are donut and ice cream snobs. We went for the ice cream and were blown away by the donuts. It was an hour to close and the selection for donuts left nothing to be desired. Grabbed a dozen for breakfast the next day and they were still good in the morning. But wait. We are here for ice cream, right? That stuff was the best we had all week. They don't make their own, and I forgot who they said made it, but it was excellent. I don't normally like to build stuff up too much but if you like ice cream and donuts and only have time to pick one - this is the place. Thanks fellas. Wish we could frequent you. But we're 8 hours away. You will always have a place in our hearts.

If you could have heard her. She kept licking and saying, "So good, so good, yummy." Our little granddaughter came to visit at our cabin. We always visit your tasty shop. Pictures don't lie.
