Absolute world class treatment. Had surgery from Dr Sobel and her care, performance and expertise is exceptional. Her staff and team are all professionals. I had a complex case and I recommend anybody to go to Dr. Sobel if you can. Thank you for helping me.

It sounds ridiculous, but please let parents know ahead of time that the toy chest is strictly patient only. I never would have let my 2 yr old look at those cheap little toys with her sister had I known this. She cried quite a bit because she was so confused and disappointed. And we couldn't even leave because we still had to wait 20 more minutes for the eye dilation, and we hadn't even seen the actual doctor yet. Wouldn't it have made sense to let them both have a toy to play with during the additional wait?? This is a pediatric office, I feel like they should know this could be a problem... but anyways.. needless to say, this was not a good experience for us.

Drove here for my mothers 10:45am appointment. We arrived 20 minutes early. She was moved to the 2nd waiting area and did not see the doctor until nearly 1:00 pm. She hasnt eaten anything and was frustrated and nervous waiting so long. She doesnt want to return for another appointment if she can find somewhere more accommodating to wait time. The staff made excuses about add on emergency patients. However we arent the only ones as seen in the other reviews.

I went to the eye institute for my annual eye exam. Not only did they not mention that my doctor was out of network, they billed the visit incorrectly and I was charged a fee which I sought to get more information about. Vanderbilt Health made it so difficult to get my information that after months of back and forth it was simpler to just pay the extra money despite the incorrect billing. Would not recommend.
