Horrible and costly experience. Delivery was 2 hours late. The driver did not follow the visible, dedicated, roadway where, earlier that day, 24 tons of rip rap had been delivered and dumped without the driver having any difficulty with, the plainly visible, existing, roadway. Your driver chose his own pathway(s) and became stuck twice as a result of his decision(s), even after being instructed by my husband of the proven road to follow. The driver's supervisor arrived, reviewed the (physical) situation and agreed to and instructed the driver to make a second attempt. The supervisor positioned himself (on the roadway) to guide the delivery driver and (again) the driver veered, off the roadway in the opposite direction resulting in the second (stuck) event. Had to call in a neighbor with a large tractor to support the truck and to keep it from turning over, until the wrecker arrived. The concrete had to be discharged into a neighbor's tractor, loader, bucket and driven (down the dedicated roadway) to where it was to be originally placed, without any further problem(s). After the mixer became stuck ( the first time) the driver appeared to be more concerned about his personal (getting home at a certain time) agenda rather than trying to assist in resolving the situation. His physical and verbal behavior (frantically running around and declaring he WAS NOT going to make any more delivery attempt(s) caused my husband to have serious question(s) about the driver's experience background. I do acknowledge that my husband signed a release, before the mixer entered the property, but the release did not release him from following the dedicated roadway and damaging our property. This will require much work and money to repair unnecessary damage and return the property to its original condition and appearance. There were no apologies offered by the supervisor or driver either.
