The Hopestead

Beautiful 1840 year home on spectacular property. Just a few minutes from Lynchburg and the Jack Daniel's Distlery. Our bed was very comfortable and Vanessa served an amazing breakfast! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

We had such a pleasant experience at The Hopestead, everything from our stay was wonderful, even down to the bed linens and the mattress as well! It's the perfect place for those wanting to overnight near Lynchburg. Michael and Vanessa were incredibly hospitable and wonderful hosts. I highly, highly recommend a stay here.

We loved our stay at The Hopestead so much! Came for a girls trip with my daughters and enjoyed every minute with Mike and Vanessa. They have restored this historic farm to such a beautiful home and we felt the warmth of their hospitality in every little corner. Vanessa makes the most amazing breakfasts and went above and beyond for our food sensitivities. Mike has extensive knowledge on the local whiskeys and he shared a flight of all of his favorites with us. It was a pleasure staying here and we cannot recommend it enough !! Rooms: The beds are so comfortable. Like home away from home. Soft sheets and perfect pillows !! The rooms are so quiet. We all slept so well here. Food & drinks: Vanessa can cook! And bake! And is the best hostess. Mike is an amazing whiskey expert!

I have never stayed at a bed and breakfast, so I wasn't sure of the experience. Mike and Vanessa were amazing hosts. The house was not only beautiful, but it was very clean. The breakfast was outstanding. I only stayed one night, but wished I would have scheduled more time here. I will be back again. I'm happy to support this veteran owned business. Thank you for your service, Mike!
