Whoever drives their truck locally in Johnson city needs to learn to drive again. Very aggressive driving, cutting cars off, tailgating, etc.

We had an issue with our ceiling that Middleman Construction quick prioritized and did a great job. Based on the first job we decided to get a quote from them for a major home renovation. Everything seemed great at first but as walls started to go up, the poor quality began to show. You can easily see mud lines which they blamed on the paint. They cannot paint a straight line if their lives depended on it and ended up having to go with crown molding to hide what we could at the top. They touched up areas on the ceiling with a different white paint used for something else and its really noticeable. They were always in a hurry to get to the next job, saying they would be done in a couple days when the house was obviously nowhere near complete. On the final walk through, we would pointed out areas where there are issues and he would say "well we didn't charge you for [this or that]". They make excuses anytime something is not right and put the blame on the customer somehow. Gaslighting at its finest! I will say they came back to fix an issue with the floor and a couple of outlets but the outlets were broken in the first place due to them using the wrong hardware which stripped them out. Later, our sons closet doors fell off and they would not put them back up. Instead, they blamed the issues on the knobs...which tells me everything I need to know about their knowledge of construction. The final straw was when I unplugged my vacuum and the entire outlet came out with it because their crew used wood screws to put them in. They said they would get someone out when they could and show no real care about their work or quality. They are nice enough but thats as far as it goes. Do not trust them with big projects as they are not well organized nor do they have time management skills. I hope this provides some insight as this is just the surface stuff and not everything we had issues with. Currently working with our lawyer on next steps.
