My son began this school year at Unaka Elementary school as a kindergartner after last year attending a different county school for pre-K. We are so happy with the difference between the two schools! From the first time I stepped foot inside Unaka Elementary, I felt completely different from the feeling I got from the school the previous year. The entire faculty was so kind and the atmosphere of the school was so warm and welcoming. If you are looking for a county school with smaller classes that provide a better one-on-one learning experience for your child, Unaka is a good option! Also, I'm very pleased with the progress my son has made in the few short months of attending this school!
