This has been the worst experience Ive had with Customer service. partly because of Nationwide but BTJ as a representative Ive had issue after issue regarding my policy. Getting through to an agent has a been endless circle of being redirected back to Nationwide then back to BTJ and then straight to voicemail. After agents throughout the company were split years ago it took BTJ 2 years to update our information when we moved. I called and called but still found the system had not updated our info. This was after speaking with several agents and the apps and websites failing to update the new info. The lack of assistance when my elderly father was trying to keep up with his policy after 20 years was my first clue. Then after years of being a loyal customer we filed a claim through Nationwide only to be met with a non renewal. Thats right. If you use your insurance you loose your insurance no matter how long youve been a client. BTJ wasnt able to find us a new provider but the first place I called assisted us with no issues. My last straw has been trying to get ahold of someone to cancel our Nationwide policy. 3 days and 2 emails. Ive not been able to reach anyone to assist nor has anyone returned my calls or emails. They are happy to help as long as you are buying but using, changing or cancelling and you will not hear a peep from these people. User beware.
